<p><strong>Powertrain Legislation and Certification Specialist (Marine) Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>Unknown Resourcing are seeking a Powertrain Legislation, Certification, homologation Engineer / Specialist for our leading R&amp;D client. The successful candidate will support the Marine team through the product certification process to interpret and comply with various global hydrogen and marine standards, including but not limited to, engine and hydrogen fuel storage and delivery system approvals.</p>
<p>Maintain up to date knowledge of industry standards and applicable rules, monitor legislative changes and assess their potential impact on dual-fuel engine and hydrogen system approvals.</p>
<p>Act as an interface for external parties (e.g. Classification Societies) to exchange testing and witnessing requirements and cascade requirements to the engineering and calibration teams.</p>
<p>Oversee multiple complex schedules, setting priorities for internal teams.</p>
<p>Advise Company management of the legislation/compliance project statuses on a regular basis.</p>
<p>Developing new project legislation approval, e.g. spearheading underdeck storage concepts, new engines, in-service inspection requirements, etc</p>
<p>Coordinate the efforts of the engineering and production departments to ensure programs are conducted in accordance with the safety standard requirements.</p>
<p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance requirements into the development process.</p>
<p>Coordinate prototype certification testing to qualify new designs/systems.</p>
<p>Ensure compliance to safety analysis including DFMEA, HAZID, HAZOP, HAT and SAT</p>
<p>Supply ongoing training to the engineering teams, acting as a resource and mentor for technical guidance.</p>
<p>Independently anticipate potential schedule delays and initiate plans for alternative actions as needed; able to rearrange competing priorities to ensure all deadlines are met.</p>
<p>Work professionally and cooperatively in a cross-functional team environment with a focus upon maximising system safety, performance and customer satisfaction</p>
<p>Perform all other duties as assigned.</p>
<p><strong> Powertrain Legislation and Certification Specialist (Marine)</strong><strong> Requirements: </strong></p>
<p>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field of study</p>
<p>Minimum of five years relevant engineering experience with minimum three (3) years of managerial experience in product certification or plan approval</p>
<p>Experience in any of the following is preferred and highly valued:</p>
<p>Classification society/Plan Approval</p>
<p>Hydrogen and/or fuel cells</p>
<p>Oil and Gas, CNG, LNG, etc.</p>
<p>Experience in advocacy and engagement with regulatory agencies is a plus.</p>
<p>Ability to travel occasionally, up to 20% of the time.</p>
<p>Computer and software systems skills as applicable to position including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Outlook</p>

The Support Engineer / Application Engineer positions offer an exciting opportunity to work with leading automotive clients worldwide, providing support, training, and demonstrations on a wide range of products to customers.</p>
<p>The role involves troubleshooting issues, resolving customer inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our robotic and software solutions. The Support Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and sales personnel, to deliver exceptional customer support and contribute to customer satisfaction.</p>
<p>The successful Support Engineers, Support Technicians will be part of the Track Test Support team. This team is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to customers who utilise systems across our driving robot and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) target products. The products are used to test and validate the latest vehicle safety technologies, such as those designed to intervene automatically in the event of a pending collision. The drive to develop vehicle autonomy has led to a growing demand for these products and a subsequent increase in the team’s support and training activities.</p>
<p><strong>ADAS Support Engineer / Application Engineer, Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>Customer Support and issue resolution: Provide technical support to customers via various channels regarding our robotic systems, including installation, configuration, operation, sending software updates and troubleshooting. Maintain and resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and efficient manner, whilst ensuring business systems are kept up to date with the accurate information.</p>
<p>Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Analyse and diagnose technical problems reported by customers related to robotic systems. Utilise problem-solving methodologies and technical expertise to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.</p>
<p>Remote and on-site support: Support customers remotely by guiding them through troubleshooting procedures and providing step-by-step instructions. When necessary, visit customer sites to assess and resolve complex issues that cannot be resolved remotely.</p>
<p>Escalation management: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and development, to escalate and prioritise critical customer issues. Communicate progress, updates, and resolutions to customers in a clear and timely manner.</p>
<p>Documentation and knowledge base: Create and maintain documentation, including troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles, to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of customer support. Continuously update and expand the knowledge base to provide self-service options for customers.</p>
<p>Training and education: Conduct customer training sessions to enhance their understanding of robotic systems and maximise the utilisation of the products. Deliver technical workshops and presentations to address common customer questions and concerns.</p>
<p>Product feedback and improvement: Gather and relay customer feedback and insights to internal teams for product enhancement and improvement. Collaborate with the product development team to share customer pain points, suggestions, and feature requests.</p>
<p>Customer relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and expectations. Provide personalised support and serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.</p>
<p>Continuous learning and industry knowledge: Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in the testing industry.</p>
<p><strong>ADAS Support Engineer / Application Engineer, Requirements:</strong></p>
<p><em>Essential:</em></p>
<p>Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with a solid understanding of robotic systems and their components.</p>
<p>Familiarity with sensors, actuators, control systems, and related technologies.</p>
<p>Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues.</p>
<p>Strong documentation and knowledge management skills to create and maintain support materials.</p>
<p>Willingness to travel to customer sites for on-site support, as required.</p>
<p><em>Desirable:</em></p>
<p>HNC or higher, in an engineering field, preferably mechanical, electrical, computer science or robotics. In lieu of an HNC, business and product experience will be taken into consideration.</p>

<p>Ensure all supporting documentation relating to a hardware release is complete and accurate (including but not limited to: requirements documents, design documents, design review reports, test plans &amp; results, user documentation) and is held according to the Company’s policies;</p>
<p>Ensure the relevant hardware lifecycle is followed for assigned engineering activities;</p>
<p>Identify areas for improvement including tools, techniques and processes;</p>
<p>Ensure that any safety concerns identified are recorded in the project hazard log and are brought to the attention of the Chief Hardware Engineer;</p>
<p>Ensure that any problems encountered during the hardware design and development process which might affect the performance or quality of the final product are brought to the immediate attention of the Project Manager and Chief Hardware Engineer;</p>

<p>Act as chair and arbiter during formal design reviews.</p>
<p><strong>Senior Hardware Electronics Engineer</strong> Requirements:</p>
<p>Degree-qualified in an appropriate engineering discipline (Electrical and Electronic Engineering);</p>
<p>Experience of small to medium volume manufacturing and assembly techniques appropriate to HV Power Electronics;</p>
<p>Experience of Si, SiC and GaN technology up to 1200V.</p>
<p>Experience of Power Conversion; Converter and Inverter up to 300kW.</p>
<p>Experience in HSD with latest range of Safety Processors; Infineon and NXP primarily.</p>
<p>Experienced and familiar with using ECAD; Altium, Zuken, PSpice, Spice, MathCAD including general engineering tools;</p>
<p>Experience in the use of model-based development tools including Matlab, Simulink;</p>
<p>Experience and understanding of ISO26262 including process and design methologies;</p>
<p>Good troubleshooting, test and analysis skills;</p>
<p>Good written and verbal communication skills; supporting customer meetings, issues resolution and report writing;</p>
<p>Proficiency with standard office tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project etc.);</p>
<p>A flexible approach in terms of working hours;</p>

<p>Liaising with the Project Manager and other members of the Project Team to establish hardware feature content and requirements for internal and customer releases;</p>
<p>Take a primary role in the hardware design and development process including: hardware requirements specification and analysis, hardware system design, hardware functional design, hardware specification, participation in peer and formal reviews, preparation of test plans, specification and procurement of test equipment, coordinating and supporting the manufacture and test of prototypes;</p>
<p>Ensure that hardware development work is conducted in accordance with Company policies and procedures, and that such work meets relevant project, customer and Company quality and safety standards;</p>
<p>Ensure all supporting documentation relating to a hardware release is complete and accurate (including but not limited to: requirements documents, design documents, design review reports, test plans &amp; results, user documentation) and is held according to the Company’s policies;</p>
<p>Ensure the relevant hardware lifecycle is followed for assigned engineering activities;</p>
<p>Identify areas for improvement including tools, techniques and processes;</p>
<p>Ensure that any safety concerns identified are recorded in the project hazard log and are brought to the attention of the Chief Engineer</p>
<p>Ensure that any problems encountered during the hardware design and development process which might affect the performance or quality of the final product are brought to the immediate attention of the Project Manager and Chief Engineer Requirements:</p>
<p><strong>Hardware Electronics Engineer requirements:</strong></p>
<p>Degree-qualified in an appropriate engineering discipline (Electrical and Electronic Engineering);</p>
<p>Experience of small to medium volume manufacturing and assembly techniques appropriate to rotating electrical machines;</p>
<p>Experience in the use of model-based development tools including Matlab, Simulink;</p>
<p>Familiarity with external motor control systems including power electronics, control methods and position sensor requirements would be advantageous;</p>
<p>Good test and analysis skills;</p>
<p>Good written and verbal communication skills;</p>
<p>Proficiency with standard office tools: Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc;</p>
<p>A team player with the additional ability to work alone unsupervised;</p>
<p>Highly-motivated and capable of working on concurrent activities;</p>
<p>Willingness to travel within the UK and world wide;</p>

<p>The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate proven capability and experience of designing and developing software for high performance embedded systems</p>
<p><em>Your main tasks and responsibilities as <strong>Software Engineer</strong> </em><strong>Drive Electrification</strong><em> will include:</em></p>
<p>Realisation of embedded software for 8-, 16- and 32-bit microcontrollers using established company design practices and software life cycles in line with the ISO2001:2008 quality system and high integrity design standards, including:</p>
<ul>
<li>Autosar Basic Software Configuration;</li>
<li>Autosar Application Software Implementation;</li>
</ul>
<p>Interpretation of system requirements in collaboration with systems and hardware engineers to generate software requirements using SysML and/or UML;</p>
<p>Code implementation using C/C++ programming languages, assembly language and automatic code generation from modelled environments;</p>
<p>Generation and execution of test plans and reports at all levels of the “V” life cycle, including unit/structural tests, integration tests and verification/validation tests;</p>
<p>Generation and formal review of technical documentation and artefacts from the design process;</p>
<p>Participation in FMEA, HAZOP, FTA, and other analysis techniques.</p>
<p><strong><em>Software Engineer Driveline Electrification </em></strong><em>requirements:</em></p>
<p>Degree-qualified in an appropriate science or engineering discipline;</p>
<p>Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within an embedded system product development environment;</p>
<p>Experience in programming using C, C++, C# and assembly languages;</p>
<p>Experience with Autosar configuration tools (Especially Elektrobit, Vector or ETAS)</p>
<p>Experience with the Infineon Aurix family of microcontrollers (preferably using the Tasking tools chain);</p>
<p>Experience using requirements management and specification tools e.g. DOORS, Cradle, MKS Integrity;</p>
<p>Experience using configuration management tools e.g. MKS</p>
<p>Experience with software analysis methodologies e.g. Yourdon SASD or UML;</p>

<p><strong><em>Cyber Security Development Engineer responsibilities:</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Responsible for Automotive Cybersecurity; the cross-discipline approach to Vehicle Resilience will allow successful applicants the opportunity to work on the safety, security and connectivity aspects both internally and externally to the vehicle.</li>
<li>Using a systems engineering approach, guide customers on specifying Security and Connectivity requirements including Over the Air (OTA) updates.</li>
<li>Responsible to carry our risk assessment (TARA) on ECU’s and associated functions/features in line with ISO 21434.</li>
<li>Vehicle, System and Component level Requirements Management, decomposition and Specification definition.</li>
<li>Security alignment with customer and supplier management.</li>
<li>Responsible for developing Cyber Resilience concepts on ECU and Vehicle level.</li>
<li>Guide customers on IT and electronic engineering best practices.</li>
<li>Meeting deadlines for deliverables to quality cost and time.</li>
<li>Liaising with local and European technical design / engineering resources for project support.</li>
<li>Coordinate cross-functional reviews for the resolution of technical issues.</li>
<li>Other tasks as assigned by manager.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><em>Cyber Security Development Engineer Requirements:</em></strong></p>
<p><strong><em> </em></strong>Relevant degree or similar engineering qualification. Chartership would be beneficial.</p>
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronics architecture in particular vehicle networks.</li>
<li>Knowledge of regulations/standards (SAE/ISO) and associated regulatory frameworks such as ISO 21434, SAE 3061 and UNECE WP29.</li>
<li>Knowledge of software signing, secure boot and associated cryptographic techniques.</li>
<li>Familiarity with cyber-security engineering; identifying threat vectors and conducting threat</li>
<li>analysis and risk assessment in conjunction with functional safety engineering team.</li>
<li>Familiarity with authentication, encryption techniques, key management and HSM.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environment for certificates and key assignment.</li>
<li>Must be able to capture requirements, write technical specifications, integrate and test.</li>
<li>Knowledge of security techniques defined in ISO 14229 and Autosar (SecOC).</li>
<li>Strong working experience of working in the security function/s and have spent time handling security incidents and security threat management.</li>
<li>Evidence of having worked at multiple stages of the V cycle using systems engineering approach.</li>
<li>Experience in project management and product delivery; experience of software development and releasing would be beneficial.</li>
<li>Experience of working with change management tool such as JIRA, SVN, GIT; ALM and PLM knowledge would be highly beneficial.</li>
<li>You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical language into clear, accurate terminology that non-technical people will understand.</li>
<li>Able and willing to travel overseas as required by the project or company.</li>
