Unknown Resourcing is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our Technology client based in Aberdeen to join a growing global team. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a significant impact.

Senior Software Developer responsibilities:

Work within our Agile Scrum team to deliver against product roadmap objectives

Build and maintain robust .NET applications for our SAAS offering

Support existing clients and implement solutions to meet their evolving needs

Participate actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Contribute to workshops and brainstorming sessions to shape future features

Conduct thorough code reviews of pull requests to maintain code quality

Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers

Help drive continuous improvement in our development processes

Key Technologies

  • C# and .NET Core API (essential)
  • Azure infrastructure and Azure DevOps
  • .NET Blazor
  • Database design and implementation
  • TypeScript/JavaScript frameworks (beneficial)
  • Unit testing and integration tests

Senior Software Developer requirements:

5+ years of software development experience with focus on .NET technologies

Strong C# and .NET Core API skills

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities to tackle complex technical challenges

Outstanding communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders

Ability to translate technical concepts into clear language for non-technical stakeholders

Experience with unit testing and integration testing

Proven track record working in Agile/Scrum teams

Proficiency with version control and PR workflows

Familiarity with project management tools like Jira
